delete your yoji account

you can delete your yoji account and everything in it at any time. there are two ways to do it.

in the app

open yoji, go to the account screen, and tap delete account. we email you a code to confirm it's you.

without the app

if you can't open the app, email support@yojishop.com and ask us to delete your account. write from the address you use for yoji, because that is how we know the account is yours.

if you signed in with Google, write from your Google account's email address.

if you signed in with Apple, write from your Apple ID's email address. if you chose Hide My Email when you signed up, we only ever saw Apple's relay address and can't match your email to your account, so please delete it in the app instead.

what happens next

your account is signed out everywhere straight away. for 7 days you can change your mind by signing back in. after that we erase it for good: your email, your sign in identifiers, your quiz history, the questions you missed, and your account record.

error reports and feedback you sent are kept with your account removed from them, so they no longer point at anyone. encrypted backups taken before you deleted your account expire on their own within 90 days. the full details are in our privacy policy.

deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google. cancel yours in your App Store or Google Play settings, or it will keep renewing.
